Shipyard Raid ('05-'08)

"Tad Roberts and Raiders share stories adventures, and slides from the past four Raids. The Shipyard Raid is an annual week-long staged race for traditional sail and oar boats accompanied by a mothership and escorts."

Tad Roberts is a local yacht designer and naval architect, founder and organiser of the Shipyard Raid. He grew up in mid-coast logging camps and fished all over the BC coast; his grandfather, Harry Roberts, homesteaded at Roberts Creek and Nelson Island.
